The Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC) oversees climbing permits and waste management for peaks and mountains in the Khumbu Region.

Climbers obtaining permits from the Department of Tourism (DoT) and Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) must register their permits and declare their food/equipment lists via this online form before departing for base camps.

After completing your climb, kindly visit our office in Namche Bazaar or Lukla to obtain your garbage clearance certificate necessary for reclaiming your refundable garbage deposits from DoT or NMA.
